Cooking Oil Recycling Containers We Provide

At Scout Septic, Grease and Drain, we offer our customers indoor and outdoor containers for their cooking oil recycling needs.

Indoor Grease Containers

The Eco-Tub is ideal for storing fats, oils, and grease. It helps keep floors free of slippery substances, helping avoid falls and fines. Because of its size, it can be kept under most kitchen counters.

The capacity options for our indoor containers include the following:

  • 42 gallons: 24” long x 20” wide x 26” high
  • 55 gallons: 30” long x 19” wide x 27” high
  • 78 gallons: 31” long x 26” wide x 26” high

Outdoor Grease Containers

Our outdoor containers can be used for collecting grease, motor oil, and other substances. They are made of 14 GA steel and have 2 – 7 GA steel skids at the bottom to keep the container stable. With a full inseam weld, they are watertight and have been tested for leaks.

Accessing the container to store cooking oil and securing it for safety is a breeze with the hinged lid and lockable grate.

While the container stock color is black, you can have yours painted with alkyd enamel in a standard color you prefer (there are extra costs for some colors).

The outdoor containers are available in the following capacities:

  • 89 gallons,
  • 134 gallons,
  • 209 gallons, and
  • 314 gallons.

What are the Benefits of Used Cooking Oil Recycling?

Renewable Energy

When you recycle used cooking oil, it turns it into renewable energy. One of the most notable fuels is Biodiesel, from used oils, grease, animal fats, and vegetable oils. Vehicles that use diesel can use this fuel, as well as companies that use diesel-powered machines.

Cleaner Environment

  • We all need a clean environment. Fuels are one of the major contributors to health hazards because of emissions.
  • Petro-diesel is more toxic than Biodiesel. It produces chemical compounds such as sulfur that are acidic, which can spoil the engine.
  • In contrast, Biodiesel is eco-friendly and does not damage a vehicle’s engine. It is green in nature and keeps everything safe.

Saves Costs

Cooking oil recycling saves costs in many ways. If you want to reduce your disposal costs at home, call a recycling company to come for your waste oil. Trying to dispose of the oil by yourself may end up spending more on extra waste bins, transportation, and special disposal procedures.

Managing used cooking oil is one of the most dreaded tasks in any food service establishment. It’s dangerous, messy, and labor-intensive. It can even be expensive if someone gets hurt in the process. That’s why you need Scout Septic, Grease and Drain to help you collect and recycle your used cooking oil.

Our team handles the entire oil process for you. Our advanced kitchen technology allows us to manage and transport used cooking oil with ease. We support all customers across Portland, Oregon, and the surrounding areas.
